Our first children's service last Sunday morning.
Amanda did a marvelous job telling the Bible story with an interpreter!

This little girl is the daughter of a couple at the same language school we're at; they've moved here to learn Spanish and after two months will be going to the mainland to work at a boys home as missionaries.

Getting some tutoring from Jose. He helped a lot!
The girls went on a walk to see the parrot at the dive shop together.
On the trial to the water tower. Beautiful!
This has something to do with a coconut; we(Jose) cracked one open, it was good.
Darling children!

After children's church with Erika, Yessy, and sadly I can never pronounce the girl in the red shirt's name...

Amanda painted these for her 16th birthday party invitations. They're SO beautiful!

Hello Kids
I'm trying again for the third time, please respond if you get this. Looks like you are having a great time and a view that would make anyone want to be there. I miss you and can't wait for you to be able to tell me all about the trip in person. I love you so much, and I pray for you daily.

Hello Denise and girls,
Please pray for Stephanie and the Kemp family. Stephanie's dad passed away this morning of a massive heart attack. We are all in a state of shock and grief. He was a healthy man---only 63 years old. Our comfort---he knew and loved the Lord and was a wonderful servant. We know he heard "Well done they good and faithful servant." He was such a blessing to his family and all who knew him.
We love you and send hugs and continued prayers,
Aunt Becky and Uncle Ed
that was really informative, bonbon. I like your nickname. And, Andi, I like your "hut" with the pretty blue gate. It looks homey and comfy. Stephanie, I love thunder too and there have been times when it has scared the perjabbers out of me! Amanda, let us know if you receive or don't receive your birthday card...Happy Birthday! Denise, I hope you're still enthralled with the beauty of your surroundings and the "moment". I love you. Love, dad/pompa

(We'll expect pictures and details of your sweet day~)
Hola Chicas! What marvelous story tellers you all are. It was so precious to see the picture of the gate to the little home God provided His adventurous gals. Jose has got to be the best tutor as his English is great. Bonbon thanks for teaching me yet a new song. I really do miss having the time to walk with you all down the street listening to some creative new jingle. Do you have a book to keep them logged in? Did you get any video footage of the storm, Steph? My most precious memory is preserved on the video you took at the beach wiht the music blaring, Andi running, and Denise, Bonnie, Amanda and I dancing in the distance. It's really moving for me to watch because it brings to life the complete joy and freedom of being situated at a certain place at a certain time in the palm of His hand. Thanks so much for allowing me in to enjoy a week of a lifetime - a week in the life of the Mills gals on their island adventure! Big hugs to all~ Erin
Belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY, Amanda! How many girls can say they spent their 16th b-day in an island paradise? Thought about you yesterday but things are still pretty busy here with all of time we have spent with Steph and her family. I babysat 11 of the Kemp grandkids yesterday morning so the family could make final arrangements. (of course 4 of those were our grandkids) Scott's funeral is tomorrow. Please continue to pray for the family.
Looking forward to your next post and wondering who will be writing the next one.
Our love and continued prayers for your health and safety and for your missionary work.
