Wow, Utila has not stopped amazing me! It's so wonderful walking everywhere, eating plain food... and only when you need to :p I have opened the fridge a few times for a little snack just to find some rice, beans, bbq sauce(which I requested for the rice :p ) and tortillas... not really anything to "snack" on ... The beach is awesome! And Spanish lessons are going well. We have met a sweet girl who lives on the water cays ( pronounced keys) she comes here during the week for school. Her name is Erin and she is SO sweet, has a kewl voice too :D We also have met many friends at church. Edwardo might even teach me some bass, and our family some drums. His wife will have to translate some though. She has also become a sweet friend. Her name is Erika, and she is 17. The other family we have enjoyed meeting has one 6 year old daughter Jesse, the mom is Dianna, and the dad is Hosea. He would like to be a pastor in America preaching in English and Spanish. So he will translate our Bible lessons at church. I have really enjoyed this church body. They are such wonderful people to be around who truely love God and eachother. They're really cute, one person won an apple, and he took a bite then threw it to someone who took a bite, and threw it across the room to another person who did the same until it was gone. I am SO tired! It's about 9 now. I woke up at 5:30 today, it gets bright at 5 here. When I woke up mom told me I had gone to bed at 8:45.... it's so weird to think of... I never do that at home. I really like it though. God is really teaching me a lot here. There isn't much to waste time on. You read your Bible, do your school, and then visit. Life is basic, and not rushed. This is great.
Love to all, thank you for your prayers! Talk to y'all next Tuesday... don't forget to see the pics below :D
